Telangana government to auction open plots in nine sections
Hyderabad
After auctioning government land in Ranga Reddy, the Telangana government has now decided to take up the trade of land in sections.
To begin with, the government will auction open plots in 9 sections. The land transaction will be held in physical mode from March 14 to 17, as per the announcement issued on February 11.
The government had before earned nearly Rs crores in different deals and got about Rs crore through the trade of land in Kokapet alone.
Now, it’s hoping to get nearly Rs crores through the fresh deals.
The coming phase of deals in the sections will be decided grounded on profit from the current trade.
The government has entrusted the responsibility to both Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and TS Artificial Structure Corporation (TSIIC).
According to the announcement, open plots will be vended in Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda, Vikarabad, Adilabad, KomarambheemAsifabad, Kamareddy, JogulambaGadwal, Peddapally, and Ranga Reddy sections.
When it comes to the worrying price for each square yard plot, the government has fixed Rs to Rs for sharing in the transaction. For Ranga Reddy quarter plot in Serilingampally, the worrying price is Rs per sq yard while it is Rs per sq yard in Peddapally and Asifabad sections.
The government, which generally targets middle class or marketable trade, has come up with small plots ranging from 60, 100, 150, 200 sq yards and above in the sections. Official sources said in places similar as Kagaznagar or Anthargaon in the Peddapally quarter people prefer lower plots for domestic purposes.
This time, piecemeal from auctioning plots in the western corridor similar as SerilingamapallyMandal, the government has also put on trade the land in Abdullapurmet on Vijayawada trace.
“ This will help the government know real estate requests on the Vijayawada trace, which has been dull for the once many times,” an elderly functionary of the profit department said.
